Is the Lawrence County Homeschool Hub a full curriculum co-op or a drop-off program?
No. We are a volunteer-led, parent-participatory community group and support network - not a licensed drop-off program or accredited school. Parents remain on-site with their children during events. Our focus is on providing social play, hands-on workshops, field trips, and parent encouragement!
How much does it cost to join?
Joining the Hub and attending our meetups is 100% free. If an optional field trip or guest-led workshop has admission fees or material costs, parents will pay those fees directly or RSVP in advance.
What age groups do you serve?
All ages! Our founding families have children ranging from preschoolers to middle schoolers (ages 4 through 12+), and we welcome families with kids of any age. Activities are planned with various learning stages in mind.
Can my child participate if they are enrolled in a hybrid learning model?
Yes! Many local families combine home education with hybrid programs (such as local hybrid public/charter offerings like Lawrence County Signature School). The Hub is inclusive and welcoming to full-time homeschoolers, hybrid students, and families exploring their options.
